ABC Issue 17 Summer 2003

Britains newest bottle magazine, launched January 2000 with 32 pages and already up to 40 pages in full colour. A particularly nice feature is the centre page (sorry no nudes but even better) which features some mind blowing bottles from various collections in each edition.

We will, in association with Lance Mytton be devising an index of information on bottles / factories / manufacturers as such information has appeared in previous issues. Lance has assured us that most of the back-issues of the ABC are still available and collectors who act quickly have a unique opportuinity to be in possesion of all the issues from No.: 1.

The ABC through the sterling efforts of Russ Smith (who is known to most South African Collectors) is a very pro-S.A. collector magazine featuring regular articles on South African Collectors and really interesting articles on Codds and Codd Patents occuring in SA.

Issue 17 is again packed full of exciting new finds, show news, a fascinating article on pictorial beers and the usual stunning full colour centre spread which features cream pots. from the collection of Alan Hampton.

The highly informative article by Terry Douglas on Daffys Elixir and Russ Smith's regular Codd article. together with another excellent Brian Thatcher (Mr Poison) piece on exotic poison patents all make for interesting reading.

The eagle eye will spot a Wheelers (South Africa) Corn Salve up for grabs in the Trading Post.
